Ancona

The capital of the Marche is also a large seaport in the northeastern Italy. Ancona is located on the Adriatic Sea and is 133 milled northeast of Rome. Its name derives from the Greek word “ankon”, which means elbow, referring to the shape of its geographical position. Ancona is finely built between the slopes of two mountains.
