Region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia

Friuli- Venezia Guilia lines the border with Slovania to the east, taking in the Carnic Hills in the north, the Roman town of Aquileia and the bustling Adiatic port of Trieste. Veneto and Friuli house beaches and ports, which provide a contrast with the area's gently rolling countryside, the vast stretch of the Lake Granda and the many attractive resorts and ancient towns. It is one out of the four autonomous Italian regions.
